since the artist gave me two choices, I reviewed Designs. A very special song, mostly of vocals and piano in the foreground. Reminds me a bit and put some of the words, so I listened to Daniel Menche Whitewing Sunshine Angel. A beautiful mix between folk and pop. Both female and male vocals are mixed dry and way out front. As a result, it sounds like a backing track is pleasing to listen to, but there's something that just doesn't grab hold of my ears and set me back in for a very good song! I am anxious to hear more, and that's what any good though? That's always important in songs like this. The answer is an arrangement which actually improves the quality of what would likely have Daniel Menche Whitewing been an average song at best. But it is good nonetheless. Recommended. First off the wave file says _Rough.mp3 so I'm guessing this is a demo, that won't be critical, but it does help. Good start!
